I have spent a WONDERFUL time in Barcelona and Rome on my vacation. I have a Spanish friend from high school living in Barcelona. and I haven not seen her for over nine (!!!) years. You could imagine how excited I was to see her!!!
She made me "Tortilla con Patatas (Spanish Omlette with potatoes)" and "Pan Tumaca (Traditional Catalonian recipe, Tomato Bread)"....hmmm soooo yummy!!!
Her parents also invited me to a wonderful lunch. As you could see on the bottom of this photo, her mother made us a HUGE seafood paella! I could finish the whole thing all my byself, it was that good!!!
You get this gorgeous views of beach and mountain. I imagine that it would be so amazing in summer time.
and this!!! I was SOOO lucky to be able to watch "El Classico 2009 (FC Barcelona VS Real Madrid)" in the stadium! There were just tons and tons of people there shouting for joy. and I felt like the whole stadium was vibrating because of it!
This is the photo of Sagrada Familia taken from the original side. I have seen some other parts being fixed, they're both overwhelming.

This is me in Rome. For a second, I thought my hand would not come out...;)

This is Le Terme di Caracalla, another beautiful place worth visiting.

I absolutely loved the view of Basilica di San Pietro you get from the bridge after sunset.
and of course...I had so much fun eating the "real" pizzas, pastas, and gelato. They were all fantastic! Too bad the weather was not the best though, we were freezing eating gelato. Oh well...I will definitely come back in summer!
To all my customers and blog readers, I wish you a Very Merry Christmas! Annaxxx
